This was the series that got me into Lupin III, and it's still my favorite of the Lupin TV series. Part 2 is a mammoth show, at 155 episodes. With the exception of a handful of two-parters and a couple of callbacks and returning characters, it's also entirely episodic, usually a "heist of the week" format. Which for me is perfect, since I love simple Lupin antics. It's fun, hilarious, and even after such a long series, never gets old. Of course, special mention needs to be made for the (hitherto) incomplete English dub, which covers the first 70 or so episodes. It takes an already funnyseries and ramps up the jokes with a gag-dub script, and is (imo) worth watching in this format in addition to the original Japanese, just for the different flavor it offers.

If you just want fun heists with the Lupin gang, Part 2 is an excellent time.
