Review of Koi Kaze

First things first. My "reviews" system is explained on a blog entry. Which can be found through my profile. ------ ✦Story Sweet, tragic story of incestiual love. I don't know what else to say, I felt the whole story had this sad subtone but at the same time very enjoyable presentation of the story. The only reason why this story about incest love was sad than most of the Anime, is that tried to be realistic, which sadly how this society/world works, incest is really frowned upon. I did enjoy this story though, it was really pure emotional run regarding 2 people truthfully falling in love with eachother. Aside many differences and the difficulties their lives may bring, what is most important, they really love each other. So it's a little nice sweet yet very sad slice-of-life romance about siblings.

✦Art & Sound
Good enough, nothing really stood out. Whenever it was art/animation/soundtrack, it just felt "good enough".

✦Character
Cute moegirl that is quite serious but at the same time has cheeky and lazy personality. While main guy is in his thirties or so, with a little bit depressed and stressed personality. I mean, I did like the lead characters. Saw a lot of myself in the guy, except experience with women and some success in career. So it was kinda, "yeah, I understand how ya feel."

Rest of the cast felt pretty much irrelevant, expect the main guy colleague and friend. I forgot her name, but she did have some potential of being main guy love interest and as well some more interference for sake of drama.

Aside that, most characters felt pretty typical "real" people. Work, public face, drinking sake. Which probably was the most boring part regarding characters.

✦Enjoyment & Overall
All things considering, it was enjoyable Anime. I pretty much binge watched in few hours with very little breaks in-between. Would have enjoyed the story more if it wasn't so "earth/reality bound" and "dead". As well a little bit better ending would been so much better. As it felt for the most part "ey, little story time, story ended."I mean by that, that it felt as I saw a story and some random time passage rant, which really didn't give any impactful way to wrap things up or the story or in another words it simply felt as "another day has passed" type of story.

But aside all that. It was sweet, sad, mildly emotional. I were satisfying. So it's good enough for me.
