Review of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
A great entry into the jojo saga. Vento Aureo/Golden Wind is very entertaining and teeming with lovable characters that makes the ending of the part even more depressing. It's a great part and is pretty deserving of many fans opinions of it being the best part. I'm not one of those fans. The things I liked: The art-style is flashy and unique and fun to look at. The plot is pretty interesting and doesn't lag for too long, but doesn't necessarily go too fast. La Squadra was pretty fun and were honestly my favorite side antags in the entire series. The side characters were pretty greatand it's not hard at all to get attached to them.
The things I didn't like: Giorno is a boring protagonist. Diavolo is a boring antagonist. This is sort of made up for with Buccellatis team being a set of really fun and lovable characters and La Squadra being a group of side antags that I could sympathize with and actually care a lot about, but it was still a let down. While the music was better than Diamond is Unbreakable's, it still doesn't hold up to Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency in terms of overall sound.
Conclusion: Vento Aureo/Golden Wind isn't amazing by any means, but it's still very entertaining and worthwhile.
