Review of Amnesia

perpetually confused girl cycles through color coordinated edgy clowns because a dude done did a homura on her So, imagine you have a serious emotional story. You have beautiful art, atmosphere, music, making this dreamlike and calm setting. The gimmick isn't too original, but it is portrayed funkily, leading you on with a sense of mild confusion. The art and setting makes it bearable, even if the plot itself fails to interest you. Then you dress up all the love interests like edgy clowns, and give them exaggeratedly poor/fuckedup/asshole behaviors, and spin them around, and suddenly it becomes a circus of dreamlike weirdness. See, the real mysteryof this show is between its characters. The main heroine is so vapid that her dulled responses to even the most abstractly abnormal weird-ass dudes that she cycles through, is just so out of place and dumb that it overpowers the setting and plot itself in terms of surrealism.

It is truly a unique experience, and i rather enjoyed it.
