Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

It was such an injustice when those who has the highest hits gave this anime a low score, when this anime was just much better than any isekai themed anime out there, cu'z this was one such anime where the main character , Naofumi, was an antihero, now , let's be fucking honest, did those people gave this anime a low score and a lot supported their reviews cu'z it lack some essential things , a harem, with some ecchi thing and the main character finds it easy to upgrade himself??????If so, then those who supported that guy must've watched too many isekai themed animesthat, they've generalize this as the "USUAL," when this goes beyond the "USUAL," cu'z unlike the main character from anime with an isekai themed , this was true to it's title, which was "Rise of the Shield Hero", the main character itself , Naofumi has to endure hell from the betrayals done by Malty and the king, ridicule from his fellow heroes and other hardships to earn his stripes unlike other isekai main characters who have it easy that their animes becomes too boring and also there was that "Play Safe" thing about the main characters from other isekai themed anime where the main character almost have it easy, don't believe me , then just watch the other isekai theme anime that was aired this spring season of 2019 "Kenja No Majo" the character there Walford Shin certainly was having a great time there and almost finds defeating his opponent with such ease that he can do it blindfolded, while the main character here has to level up in such a hard way that he almost died. Also, while other main characters from other isekai animes enjoy a good start, here the the main character has a bad start and it wasn't always that we get to see a character like Naofumi have such a bad start that he wanted to quite but cannot, this was one anime where the main character was portrayed as an anti hero who rose from the shitty ashes of despair to the higher echelons of fame and power , also about Naofumi, was that unlike the main characters from other isekai anime whom were portrayed as this nice guy, here Naofumi wasn't given such attitude, instead, he was this guy with a tsundere attitude, but deep inside he's a caring person who cares for his slaves Raptailia and Filo......and later on Melty and in the last few moments of episode 25 , Lecia who got kicked out of itsuki's party. Now , let's not forget about people whom were associated with the main character, both the good and the bad, first to good, in any isekai themed anime there would always be them girls associated with the main character and in most cases they're the harem ember competing for they main character's affection, here there was only one girl for the main character and the other one Filo was just a kid who wants a big bother , thought she may also have some feeling for him and the other one Melty, well, she more like this young lesbian with something towards Filo so basically there was just no competition for the guy's affection........I think, as we watch this anime we can see such developments that has happened with Naofumi's shitty situation as we see Malty and the King Adultcry got what they deserve for treating the guy as shit and doing something that the Queen,( who hold true power over the kingdom of Melromarc ) doesn't like and something that undermines the kingdom as a whole now seeing something like that was something climatic , so does other isekai anime does something like that?????? Ans, NO, in fact from start to finish most isekai anime where boring that one can skip an episode or tow and just wait for the final episode, so how do I rate this wonderful anime????

Story- Very Good 8: Cu'z what looks like a "USUAL" plot tuns out to be a wonderful "USUAL" Plot, where it wasn't always we get to see the main character go through all that shit of being framed for something that he didn't do that has made him into this tsundere antihero to a true hero that has left other heroes to eat his dust.

Art- Good 7: It was ok, you don't get to see any of Raptalia, Malty, melty, nor anybody's fanservices.

Sound- Good 7: That was for the first opening theme "RISE" by Madkid.

Character- Very Good 8: To the other , Iwatani, Naofumi would be just like any usual main character, who can pass as a stereotypical, isekai protagonist, but then again subject him into a world of difficulties and despair was the very thing that make his character to posses such climatic thing, Rpataila his sidekick did played her role well, where she isn't a stereotypical pretty faced who competes for main character's affection, rather her character really did played well as the main character's support both on combat and in an emotional level, where her servitude to Naofumi often give him hope to to move forward while Filo, well, I guess we can say for sure that aside from being Naofumi's muscle, she basically act as his comfort or an escape from the everyday shit that he experiences. So what about Melty???? Well, we can safely say that though Naofumi dislikes her, she was more like his moral compass in a way of making him return to the fold of trusting the royalty of the Melomarc again. Now, as for the other heroes, Kitamura, Motoyasu did played well as a butt of jokes, Kawasumi, Itsuki, played well as one of the middle character together with Amaki, Ren, needless to say that they're neither friends with Naofumi nor enemies cu'z at one point they did help Naofumi but the next they exhibits certain dislike for him. As for the bad, well we have Malty who did well as this scheming bitch that puts Naofumi in the world of shit and his Daddy Adultcry where the 2 would better that they're dead if only Naofumi didn't intervene , Shit, but anyways seeing Glass being this bad ass bitch of a wave boss adds to the climax, but a rug gets pulled under us when she didn't in the 3rd wave, and that part was kinda disgusting when we found out that that so called "WAVE" was more like a phenomenon, where it pits one group of heroes from another world to another group of heroes in the next world. L'arc and Therese serves as another group of back stabbers after Malty , given that the two where Glass's lackey from another world, whom were sent to Naofumi's world to spy on him and kill him when the wave comes, it basically gives one the idea that the betrayal doesn't end with Malty, rather the betrayal was just renewed through the two of them.

Enjoyment- Very Good 8: In most isekai themed anime, one would find it sooo boring that one can skip an episode or 2, but not this, cu'z this was was worth watching.

Overall- Very Good 8: Good to the last drop and anybody who thinks tat this should be a 4 below, shame on you for your injustice views about this anime. This should have a 2nd season.
