Review of No Game, No Life: Zero

"Saa, lets start the game, minna!" NGNL: 0. Watching this by me at 2020 too late and never had a chance to change. How stupid am i? First thing first i say to the whole movie: How spectacular! From the epic opening till insane closing. Start by a surprise beginning to an anticlimatic way to end the movie. So much plot twist. The battle really pampering my eyes. The CGI, animation, not much fan-service here, which is making this too good to be true. Such a beautiful masterpiece. I glad to myself by watching a fun-ride like this show has. Such an honor. Madhouse never failto give a surprise attack by releasing this art!

Its even better than the main story was, i guess. Yeah, 12 episode with 24 minutes length was so naive to try to explain a big alternate world like that. The understatement never going to be easy. Hence, i might wrong. Cos ... Hmm, i may say, this movie can called as a prequel. A prequel before the main story as Sora-shiro adventure as even begin. You know what i mean, right?

The mythical tale, over six thousands year ago. An ancient Disboard, the red heat destroyed world. Before the peace has finally ever formed on those present. Before the world had a freshened air ever. Before the human had their full rights, which is always be the lowest right. Once upon a time, called as an Aminity pre order era, the older humanity was formed to fight such a massive destroyed world release at that day. An ancient human race trying to survive. Surviving at the most dangerous are of the world. The world full of such unbalance war. A nonsense battle by battle had taken. Full of hatred by the lowest races. Full of death by the weakest race the world has to be. A race of humanity, old Aminity era!

Yet, the humanity came as the lowest race ever born to the world. They disaggree the condition. They disaggree the destiny. They got so much rage, why being born as such a scumbag, a bug, toward the total war all the race had. The war had never ever stopped. They can not do that, because the lack of their power. The war never get the understanding, even the gods among by controlling over the world, can not understand each other. Till that boring game over, a war game was over, human will always be a fatal blow by other races. Till the humanity become a ghost, to take the initiatives, the dumbest way to finish the game. The control to manipulate other races, with all the term and conditions. To take the last item: Suniaster. With one conclusion toward the whole world: to end the game.

The history, later, tell a tale by god of game, named Tet, about Disboard alternate world premiere had to be. I must say that story must be a way to triggering some good event at the future. But, i wont spoil my own heart. I just wanna enjoy this movies, when the previous season can not fully fill my lust. I laughed. I rolling on the floor, and cant even say one bad word. Maybe, some part take too much effort. And it Impressed too exaggerated. With so amazing art animation, exaggeration feel so iritated, somehow. Well, thats my minus over this amazing movie. And i really proud of that advancement. Especially with the characteristic of Tet.

This unknown ordo, races, which somehow called as god of game (by the male lead character) come to trigger the MC to change. Trigger the 'first love' meeting. Attach the whole concept about the 'heart' feeling, and then twist so fast through the end of the show. Some might called it a Plot device. Maybe you call that a plot armour, or even as an asspull. It sometimes really occur at some scene. I can not tell too much detail of the situation.

I really need to keep this as clean as possible. You might figure it out by yourself. I rather keep to forget about it, because the story impression itself really so beautiful. No joke. I call that an improvement. And the armour (or any alias you like) had to bring to get the pace to the right momment. Thats why i can not make too critic about the idea. Since the idea was too sad to be called as a great thought.

As a character reviewing at this section. The old character you may always find before can not attend at this movie. Yes, this movie had concept to the past. Even the old MC-one had appear at the very last scenes. They appear to be at the ending momment. With my mind thought about the reincarnation by this MCs destiny, then the game will always start to the very beginning. Even the ending shall be approach to an end, no game with no life. This show, this whole series can not to get to that conclusion very quickly. I smirk at that wild mind. Again, reading LN material story will be the best way to clear your wild guess. And by the characterization feel too good to be bad, yes the character shall get my 10 point.

10 for overall, 10 for every other aspect. No need more judgement. All need to take my two thumbs up. All great me with full of joy. Full of satisfied scenes. Full of sadness. Full of brilliant animation, brilliant battle movement, an excellent strategy to imaging feel. Romance, action, low ecchi (very wise decision), great machine character, and other thing i can't write here, too much!

Yeah, this is too short by calling this as a review. But, what else can i do, while this movie so good? Nothing. And im happy by saying it out loud. A perfect rating since HxH, Haruhi movies, and Oreimo leading the best of three at my lists in this MAL sites.
