Review of Big Order (TV)

Pros Good action Excellent voice acting from the cast especially Rin's seiyuu Cons Inconsistent art style Hard to follow story Anime was to short of length From the beginning what drew me to this anime was the story and the action that i knew this anime would have. While the story itself was not awful i felt that this was caused by the fact that thisanime only had 10 episodes. In the latter however i wasn't disappointed as the fight scenes in the anime were really well done and enjoyable.

In terms of voice acting the anime had a number of veterans in its cast including one of my favorites Saori Hayami. As a whole the voice acting for the anime was top notch with particular praise going to the seiyuu's for Rin and Iyu respectively as they were truly amazing.

In terms of cons however the anime has some issues that stop it from being one of the great ones. The first issue is the art style that this anime used. While the art style was fine in most cases i felt that it was not consistent through the season which is a bit odd. The story itself is rather complex and not explained nearly enough and as a result is sometimes hard to follow especially if you come back to an episode after some time. Finally at only 10 episodes long i felt that the anime was a bit to short which consequently affected the story as well as the ending.

Overall Big order was a decent anime that was let down by its short length and its story.
