I will be brief here: It isn't bad. I can't see why the score is so high though the art isn't anything special. The story isn't anything special The story is the high point, and even that I am being overly generous with the 7 (I'll include a 1 sentence summary at the end that is a complete spoiler/the entire story) I've watched it over the last 3 evenings and really was expecting more. Would I recommend it? . . . kind of? If you are in the mood for an alright anime that really doesn't have a complex story filled with twists, one that doesn't have fancy fightscenes or anything, but does occasionally have a funny moment and does have character development then yes. If that doesn't sound appealing to you I'd avoid it

But wait how do I rate the characters so poorly with development? Because that is the only appealing character trait. None of the characters are memorable. . . at all. The two main ones can be best described as 'shy NEET' and 'generic businessman'

Ok one line spoiler: The MC falls in love with a character online, big shock it is someone she knows IRL and the two most awkward people ever start dating.

Yes that is honestly the entire plot of this anime. Yes there are other characters but they really don't matter much either in game or out of the game. One character has a job, but it really isn't important beyond the fact that the other character is a self-proclaimed NEET and constantly reminds herself that he is to good for her
