Review of Recovery of an MMO Junkie

This anime was good. That's all I can really say about it. The main characters were nice, but not complex. Similarly, the relationships were pretty nice. Nothing like A Silent Voice, but there was seemingly natural chemistry between the voice actors. The story had an interesting take with it being from a girl's perspective primarily and based on MMO playing, but they integrated both the virtual and IRL worlds well. Overall, I enjoyed this anime, but I would say that this is one best meant to put on and chill too rather than get super invested in. This anime is similar to Bofuri in the sense that theyintegrate the virtual and real-world well; however, Bofuri mainly focusses on the character's experiences in-game. This anime focuses on the IRL character's experiences and uses the game as a medium to explain them. To simplify, Bofuri is about the game more, and this anime is more about the characters who play the game.
