This was a very engaging show. There wasn't much depth to the characters, at least the main ones. The only significant change or development happened with the gang at the pier. It makes up for it though by using the world to convey the story. Aside from world-building, they used a lot of sex and gore to further add depth to the world. I didn't give this a higher score purely because the main character didn't undergo some sort of redeeming arc. It was purely despair and misery from start to end and perhaps that's the point of the story. It just isn't my cupof tea. Overall I really enjoyed Devilman; Crybaby
