Review of Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel - II. Lost Butterfly

Dark, sinister and unpredictable. The darkest route of Fate has delivered us with a stunning sequel to the first movie. As someone who has never read the visual novels, this was a dark, eerie show with it's share of disturbing and just straight out "WTF" moments. Ufotable once again deliver with godlike animation especially in action scenes. Every frame is animated perfectly and they made the fight scenes so much more memorable with the unique colour palette. The choreography and action direction was of top quality. Great soundtrack as well, especially the use of an instrumental version of "Hana no Uta" from the first movie.A great movie, especially as a fan of the franchise - though it must be said that it will be hard to enjoy this movie on its own without any background understanding of the Fate universe
