Review of Fire Force

It's interesting reading other reviews, and noticing how they call out the same details I did, but hating them where I loved them, Arthur the meme-knight: They know exactly how he looks, and the show constantly jokes about his stupidity. Shinra the meme-hero: Unlike other shounen protagonists, he isn't unreasonably, unnaturally weak! He's smart, driven, and gifted, all welcome changes from basically all other shounen The meme-captain: He's the token "I have no powers" person. Again, super refreshing that the normy isn't the MC and is a person of status The ecchi: This is my biggest criticism of the show and where it will lose a huge part ofits audience. It does not strike the right balance between fan service, progressiveness, and ecchi. Everything about the "lucky lecher" is cringe and hurts the show

All in all, the art is great, the music is solid, the sound effects are a bit painful (Vulcan effects are brutal) and I rate the show a solid 9.

Worth watching if some excessive cleavage isn't a problem
