A Former Child Soldier Who Uses a Magic Sword Wants to Live With a Lady of Former Enemy Executive · review
Its a good story done bad, I really am really sad of how it turns out in the later chapters. The one thing that makes it bad is that the grown woman and child don't have a mother, son, relationship it's that the woman actively tries to make the child uncomfortable WITH HER OWN BODY. It's really a thing that shows how far fan service has to go. As of right now I've read all the available chapters in the manga. Story 8/10: It's about a child who was a soldier for his whole life, getting kicked off the hero's team because of his ruthless fighting styleand finding a woman who was a high ranking person who ran away from the demon kings land. It's a really unique story and would have been really enjoyable.
Art 8/10:
It is honestly really good art. Every panel is met with good touch. I really like the art in this manga.
Characters 7/10:
Every single character is written good it's just one character has one bad trait that really brings the whole manga down. Each character has a reason they do stuff and some scenes are really good with heartfelt meanings added to them. But Satis, the main female lead is actively trying to seduce him, well not trying to seduce him, but just like showing a lot of skin around him, taking baths with him, she literally says "Maybe I was a bit too assertive, ara." Like bro... Keep in mind that the guy character is literally a child and she is a grown a** woman.
Enjoyment 4/10:
Really again, the only downside to this manga is the thing I mentioned earlier, if this manga didn't have it I would have honestly bumped up this enjoyment by four because the story and characters were actually promising and leading for a 7/10 or 8/10 manga.
Overall 6/10:
Another case of a manga getting ruined by fan service, to a child at that. The reason I don't have the overall rating lower is that the actual story, art, and characters all are so good that it's really not fair to put it lower than 6. I hope these good writers can get the chance not to add this kind of fan service in the future. I am really disappointed.
