This donghua is about a cultivation master who was on the precipice of attaining higher power when he got betrayed by his one and only friend. He reincarnated into a lowly apprentice of a destitute martial arts sect. The previous owner's last wish was that he'd protect the girl that he likes which gets imprinted onto the new owner. The story is pretty much just about the MC being overpowered and getting stronger and stronger. He attains higher status, collects subordinates and strives to become the top martial artist. The side characters all have distinct personalities but don't have anything at all interesting to themto write about. The MC is very straightforward, arrogant, driven, and always miraculously one step ahead.

The donghua is mostly about fight scenes. There is plenty of them and they're mostly entertaining to watch.
The animation is not great, but not bad either. Sound and music is very amateurish.

I had a decent amount of fun watching the first few episodes, after that it became incredibly tedious. There is just nothing interesting that happens. It failed at the hands of the short runtime, which is mostly used up by action scenes, whilst adding more and more characters into the mix without adding any depth to the existing ones. Very shallow and boring.
