It's Mine · review
There are no spoilers in this review! My grammar might be a little off, but please bear with me. "Wow, this sounds creepy. Why would anybody want to read this?" "It's Mine" if I were to say this story was made for everybody that would be an overstatement. The synopsis is what's supposed to catch the reader's attention and it sure caught mine. The author really said "your attention?" "It's Mine". ...anyways... here's why I loved "It's Mine". Story: I can't say the synopsis is enough information for everybody to understand what "It's Mine" is about. The synopsis makes the story appear as a generic thriller story. "Stalking lotsof people just to take them h*stage and k*ll them later." No. It's not like that at all. The reason for stalking appears more concerning than creepy for some reason. Though, if you end up reading and find it more creepy than concerning. I'm afraid you're more normal than the rest of the people who have read this and you most likely will never like the story. The author takes red strings connecting them on thumb tacks of a cork board and once you think you know everything, they throw out that cork board full of red string and thumb tacks and place a new one, you're still in the dark until more extravagant plot twists and dark truths appear.
Story Rating: 10/10 > 10/10
Art: I love the facial expressions the characters create, it shows what they're feeling. I also love the actions- how they move around. It's not sloppy and its quality is consistent.
Art Rating: 9/10 > 9/10
Character: Everybody is written so beautifully. Reading this story I could see every person played a part, not just the main characters. The characters are shown to be curious and don't always know what's best, but they do what they think is best and I guess for this, it's the thought that counts. When reading this story it feels like you're beside them as a ghost as you sense their constant corruption, curiosity, concerns, etc. Avant-garde and dementia (genre).
Does everything work out in the end for the characters? Do the characters get character development? Read to find out.
Character Rating: 10/10 > 10/10
Enjoyment: I loved the chaos, it reminded me of a personal favourite "B*stard" (which is much better than the synopsis lets on). It was out of this world. A completely new storyline, never seen before (personally).
Enjoyment Rating: 10/10 > 10/10
Overall: If you're looking for a thriller that will have you like a fish on a hook, read this. If you're looking for a story with lots of plot twists and/or dark truths, read this. If you're thinking of trying something new, read it. This read might be made for you!
Overall rating: 10/10 would recommend!
