This is the author's first work, and considering that, the story is really amazing. Not gonna lie, I only started reading this because I thought Harang was a cute guy. Didn't think it would lead to this lol. I really liked the 3 leads, they were all complex and well written including the Emperor. I think Aehwa was my favorite character throughout the entire story, while she's not necessarily relatable, she's a character that's easy to empathize with. The story itself is around an 8/10 for me but I really liked the execution that I had to bump it up to a 9. I remember cryingfor 4 straight hours while trying to finish the story because everything was just extremely sad.

While I loved the experience reading this, it's not something I can easily recommend since I can see the story not being the type for many.
