Ponkotsu-chan Kenshouchuu can be compared to an average school-based romcom except it has a unique twist to it; our main character has supernatural powers that change daily. Yumesaki is given a new ability everyday via text from “God” and these abilities can range from quite useful to completely useless. Yumesaki turns to her classmate, Mito, for help. Mito is heavily judged on his outward appearance; being seen as frightening, but despite his looks,Mito just wants people to depend on him. The story is unique and cute with short chapters to read easily as you get to see the bond grow between these opposing personalities, Mitois smart and reliable while Yumesaki is ditzy and all over the place; making them good friends for each other. The art is perfect for the story, cute and not too simple but not too complex either.
