I do not read the Chinese language. I also balk at reading an English translation of a 2k+ chapter web novel simply to get a "feel" for the source material. I know when I enjoy a series, and I've enjoyed this one quite a bit. The only reason I'm posting is because of that one "I give it a 1" rating from someone who watched 8 episodes at the time and decided to write. Their tastes in Chinese donghua are different from my tastes. As someone coming into this without any background in the source material, I find myself looking forward to eachnew episode. So, newcomers, don't shy away from this donghua.
