Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

A new manga out on Shonen Jump + and hopefully one, in my opinion, that does not get cancelled before getting to flesh out its interesting set of characters. In its two long introductory chapters we get to see a lot of interesting world building setting up a sort of battle royale among younger students with a theme of overarching political and mental warfare. The main character, while not anything special just yet, shows promise, as he decides to fight against the system and take control of the new colony given to Earth however he sees fit so that he can go back with hisforbidden love. While there are a lot of the generic shonen cliches already present in the story, I think the world building and character design will make me come back to this story to see how it develops. The art is a bit lackluster, but as we have seen with newer series like Kagura Bachi, the artists can explode out of nowhere and give us some really great spreads.

Overall a decent start to what I think will be a strong series if it is allowed to develop its character dynamics between the cast of characters already shown and more importantly if it can create a meaningful nuance to the colony ruler/class warfare portion of the story.
