Inazuma Eleven is that type of anime for people who want to smile. At first I didn't know what to expect, after years of having watched the original I was excited to see if the sequel would live up to the hype or simply be a way for Level 5 to make more money. I am glad I wasn't disappointed. In general, you can expect the average Inazuma experience, which, if you are a fan, that is great and/or know what I'm talking that's great (or bad if you expected something different lol). If you don't, the best way to sum it up is that youshould be ready to see power of friendship done right.

However, this anime doesn't come without problems. One of the main gripes I had was that a certain conflict was left open. The writers even try to remind us that it still existed, just to leave it open again. It is unfortunate because that conflict was really good and adding a lot of stakes to the serious tone the story had. Another problem was that the start is obnoxious. You'll spend like 10 episodes feeling annoyed, but don't worry, it's worth it. My last issue is regarding the matches. As a fan of Inazuma, you would know that the matches are not only about the MCs, but also the opponents, they also go through trials and developments. However, I couldn't help but feel that some opponents were really underdeveloped. And, naturally, that affects the enjoyment that every character plays a part on the games.

Overall, I'm really happy with the experience Inazuma Eleven Go gave me. It was a way to feed me, an old fan, the taste of the first anime, while also providing a new experience.
