Review of Ghost Hunt

Ghost Hunt is a wonderful anime if you're looking for a shojo with a twist. Is it a horror? no, it could possibly freak out a 10 year old but for a slightly older audience the ghost hunting plot is there more for character development than to actually scare you. The characters are fun, interesting, and lovable. More development is found in the manga and the light novels. The original light novels started in 1989 and ran through the 90s with a shorter spin off series that lasted 2 years, The manga started in 1998 and ran until 2010. This anime is only the mostrecent incarnation of these characters and doesn't develop them as much as the manga did (only the manga is out in english so I haven't had the chance to read the light novels). But nonetheless, this is a good anime that leaves you in a good mood.
