Review of Sword Art Online
Sword Art Online is a groundbreaking series which I'm sure most anime fans have watched or at least heard of. SAO has created a lot of controversies and arguments ranging from character building, the plot, and the outstanding uniqueness of the story. In this review, I will split SAO into 2 parts: Aincrad and Alfheim. Like this anime or not, I promise you will not regret watching this. SAO has some good features and flaws. First of all, it has some plotholes in the first half of it. For example, in Aincrad they start off at floor 1, skipping to floor 50 just in a fewepisodes. Yet despite Kirito so-called 'character building' in the hindrance of different side characters or even pointless ones, I felt like they could've enticed the audience and improved this by either shortening the Alfheim transition or just simply removing it. This anime has been simultaneously compared to other animes with hate, it has gone downhill such as NGNL and different similar animes, mangas were released. I personally enjoyed this anime and the shallow love between Kirito and Asuna.
This review is my first ever one that I've done on MAL, myself just started watching anime in the mere late 2019-2020's. I probably have bad taste, however, I felt a connection between the different seasons of Sword Art Online, in short, SAO is now just a name. They shift topics from Alfheim Online, Gun Gale Online and the real world time to time in the following seasons. Overall this was an enjoyable anime, I wrote this review a few years late, I wish to leave a mark as I liked this anime.
