Review of Monster
I hated this anime! I thought this is a slow anime that could be summed up in 50 episode and Main Character was One Dimensional, so I watched this anime and throw it away but something kept bring me back to this anime, deep down I felt I'm making a huge mistake and boy I was correct and now this is my all time favorite anime Monster, an anime that teaches you how lucky you are that you have a name, that you have a family, that you have a normal life, that you had a chance to be a kid. the Villain of the Story, JohanLiebert, is the best Villain I've ever seen, I wasn't paying attention to this character's inner thought but now I understand, Johan is still a little kid, his conversation with the little kid at orphanage was actually a symbolic conversation with his younger self
now I understand why Johan liebert was around children, why he encouraged children into committing suicide, why he challenged Main Character to kill him, why Johan thought humans are not equal and that revelation in last episode
Freud would be proud of this anime, the psychological development of Villain and Heroes are astonishing
a Masterpiece Anime with thought provoking story and questions, with character's amazing stories, with symbolism of antichrist and goodness, it's a crime against yourself if you don't watch this anime
**Spoilers**
do you remember how Tenma would save a certain individual from further corruption and at the end of the episode we saw him walking away, continuing his journey to kill the Monster?
in episode 73 we saw him walk away from camera exactly as before but this time he was about to kill the Monster inside himself by saving Johan (the very thing he hated)
**End Of Spoiler**
