(Spoiler Free) Ah yes. Fate. You have probably looked up what order to watch the fate series in. Where to start, what goes after what, is it worth it? Well, Gigguk on youtube has already shown how vast this world can be, and this review won't be covering that. What this review covers is: The main fate shows (zero, UBW, heavens feel movies), and which order to watch them (briefly) and if its any good. Watch order: Watch zero first, then watch "fate/stay night - unlimited blade works". This in my opinion is the best route to take. Its simply, its easy to follow, it has the bestcohesion to zero. There is the "fate/stay night" made by studio deen. Its worth a watch if you are doing a rewatch of the fate series as like an "alternate route" but then it doesn't fit in with the 3 follow up movies, heavens feel 1 through 3.

Now the movies. Yes. You must watch them. The misconception is that the 3 movies go one after another. They aren't. These are 3 possible endings. To simplify: Movie 1 is the "happy simple ending", movie 2 in my opinion isn't really worth watching unless you are dedicated to watch all of fate (its kinda...meh), and movie 3, the BEST ending, which is also the longest, darkest, and most tragic.

So my recommendation: zero>stay night ubw>heavens feel 3. This is my personal favorite route that has the greatest depth. Alternatively just watch all of it.

Alright, the review:
Fate/Zero is like the prologue in star wars. It sets the stage, it hypes up the plot to follow. Its like the evangelion show before the finale. Its great. Amazing. 10/10. I have seen zero several times, and I am always astounded by how well ufotable makes shows. The art is beyond words, right up there with the best from someone like makoto shinkai. The story is also great, although convoluted, it really does make sense. The plot holes will be filled later in the rest of the series. The music, sound, dub, are all great. Its literally one of the most hype shows out there that I recommend to anyone even if they don't watch anime. It has a very "game of thrones" vibe.

Fate stay night unlimited blade works, also by ufotable, is just a fantastic follow up to an already fantastic prologue. You have to watch this, after you watch zero. 10/10.

Fate stay night, the studio deen version, is under rated. Its definitely not the most "deep" route you can take in the tree, but its worth a look once you go through this show a second time. The art isn't as good, but what makes it worse is mostly the fact that it looks older, but other than that, you aren't watching this one for the art, you are watching to get a second perspective.

And now, the movies. These movies have some of the best execution I have ever seen. The music and art flow well together to create such a hyped up environment. The fights are beautiful. The voice's are fantastic. Its over all just a seamless experience. I would give 11/10 if I could.

Now some story related reviews that aren't as vague:

The characters are absolutely amazing. The level of detail to the character design is as good as it gets. Not the art, the actual personality and depth of the characters is well planned out. There isn't a single "disposable" character to be found. Everyone has a role, a motive, a purpose, and a fantastic execution. I never once felt like I could just "get rid" of a character, even if they were just a side character, and every death, every loss, is resounding throughout the show/movie.

Oh...and Saber is in fact, Babe-er. Fact. Don't argue. Shhhh...let scream Excalibur over and over.
