Review of InuYasha the Movie 3: Swords of an Honorable Ruler

This was sensational step up from the last 2 movies, which were good but not great. I was hooked throughout the whole movie and absolutely engaged in everything that was happening. The characters were amazing, as usual and we got to see characters (that never much interacted with other certain characters in the previous movies and tv series) actually interact with each other and that really pleased me. I love how we finally get to see what happened to Inuyasha's father, it was very satisfying. We also see Inuyasha, the infant (aww). The fight scenes had me on the edge and way better than thelast 2 movies. The villain of the movie was great and did a lot compared to the other movies. So much improvement in all areas with this movie. I don't really mind the the animation looking slightly different than the TV series. I think it looks pretty cool and the animation in this movie was definitely up there for an oldy. The sound is pretty much the same as the anime series, which is very disappointing and I feel like the creators were honestly just being lazy and couldn't create any original soundtracks for their movies. Sometimes I did get confused about the plot, but rarely to be honest. This is by far my favourite Inuyasha movie.
