Review of Durarara!!

Durarara!! was a pleasant surprise. The characters were cool, especially Masaomi Kida, Celty Sturluson, and Izaya Orihara; not well written but cool nonetheless. They really draw you into the show and the city, most notably Celty, and Izaya. Apparently, this show was made by the creator of Baccanno and I'm not surprised. Events and actions seemingly flowed and connected with one another, but unlike Baccanno are centered around the entertainment district known as Ikebukuro. This really made Ikebukuro feel real and alive (no pun intended). It reminded me of my own cities Dundas Square, I couldn't help but connect the two. In Summary, Durarara wasa nice watch, it had a unique plot with a wide variety of interesting and unique characters, I give it a 7.5!!
