Review of Redline

It's wacky races on steroids, snorting crack, in space, and by god is that a amazing thing. The story is simple enough, wacky races in space with higher risk of death, but its essentially an enabler for the beautifully animated action and locals shown throughout. Sadly, i cant remember the soundtrack all that much, but i can say it does mesh very well with the action scenes, and the coalesce into some of the best action scenes i know. The art is top notch, you can tell its a passion project as every scene is animated at a level that still stands high above what most other companiescan only dream of doing, special mention to the distortion of characters and landscapes due to boosting, its a beautiful effect that always gets me.

While the characters might seem a bit simple at first, throughout the film they are given moments of character animation that is only possible due to the stellar animation, through subtle changes in facial expression, or visual moments that really help elevate characters above what may have otherwise ended up being average.

Seriously, just watch it, its worth it
