I watched the first and second seasons of Arakawa and I really enjoyed the show, although I was a bit disappointed that some of the character back stories/romances/conflicts were never completely resolved-- at least to the level that I would have preferred. Story: Absolutely hilarious; I would recommend watching just for the comedy factor. There was also an interesting back story for the main character, Rec, as well as for his love interest, Nino. However, I felt like the second season ended without much resolution. I was left with so many questions still unanswered. I wish there was a third season! Art: Decent. There were some pretty moments, especiallywhen it came to the scenery in the background, but the art for the characters was nothing extraordinary. Still, I've seen far worse.

Sound:
This is mainly a comedy, so the intro and credit music were nothing stunning, just funny and up-beat to fit the mood.

Character:
Again, I felt that Rec and Nino began to be developed into interesting, dynamic characters, but I think the series ended just short of its full potential. The supporting characters were hilarious and charming, though.

Enjoyment:
Watching Arakawa is a great way to pass an afternoon. I was amused the entire time and I laughed a lot.

Overall:
I would recommend watching this anime as long as you are looking for something light-hearted and quick. Definitely worth your time.
