Review of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya

When I first started this series I enjoyed it as I would with any other 6-8/10 rated anime. Season 1 was good but didn't like hit me in the heart or anything, season 2 was a bit different but carried on the same thing and I kinda felt a bit bored, I just wanna make a note that I watched this series in the chrono order ( I had no idea it's different from the release order until I finished it :p ) and wasn't really excited for the movie as I thought it will be just the same, but I was wrong and I realizedthat those 2 seasons were only just an appetizer and preperation for the real deal : the suzumiya haruhi movie, it was literally an emotional rollercoaster and hella of a ride, it had the perfect plot for such a series, I liked everything about it, from the great music to the awesome monologues, the characters were different from how they were in the series,it turned out there was more to them, especially nagato.

The movie really kept me on the edge of my seat and it surprised me in various ways, heck I even got emotional, which is something I never expected especially when I clicked and saw that the movie is more than 2 hours long xD.

Animation was handled by KYOTO ANIMATION and that name speaks for itself.
