Overall this is a good story with mermaids. The characters are the strong part of this manga. Most of them are likable and I actually root for them. They have their own goals and motivations, except for the main antagonist. Sometimes it feels like his motivation is a little bit cliché and not really that justified. The story is quite solid as well. The main topic is the search for a place where you belong. Obviously it's not something new, but it's well written. There's also some romance in it, although it's not the main focus. World building is not that great, but since this mangais short it's understandable. Sometimes, the manga plays with horror elements, but sadly they don't make the most of them. I would've like to read a romance-horror manga with mermaids.

I do recommend this manga. It's a fun and short read. :)
