This manga is a classic trope of losing memory of your lover after an accident and the journey to retrieve the pieces bit by bit. There is nothing to keep readers guessing here, but I'm impressed by the airy and soft atmosphere circulating the story. I suppose because there is nothing much to expect (everyone can basically guess how it's gonna go), readers can lower their guard and just immerse in the storytelling from present to past to present - which is pleasantly and technically smooth! I can feel the fondness that Subaru and Souji feel for each other despite the tone being very subtlewithout much grandiose gestures.
All I'm trying to say is, this is a very straightforward manga but the author applies the principles of storytelling in a very compact way which pretty much does the trick for me. An easy and light read to kill time and relax the mind!
