I've just started reading this series thanks to an Ink event on Tapas and OH MAN! This series is an absolute tear jerking one. It's heart breaking seeing the protagonist and her family learn how to both live and love with each other. I think this is the very first series I've actually seen them have a proper therapist help them tackle their problems and she's such a key figure in the story. It has a real and grounded sense of progression while being in a fantastical setting. Be prepared to cry during each chapter. They tackle A LOT of trauma regarding child abuse soplease read at your discretion.
