This series is somewhat reminiscent of Dandadan in terms of plot. It deals with various conspiracies that are investigated by a strange group of eccentric mystery fanatics. The series takes on a distinctly episodic feel quite early on - there is always some mystery/conspiracy that our heroes investigate, only to eventually discover that this mystery is true, even if it always has some minor twist and they don't find exactly what they were looking for. We meet kuchisake-onna, a strange guy from dreams, but also turbogranny, a Loch Ness monster or a dog with a human face. In short, I cautiously recommend the series toanyone who enjoyed Dandadan. However, don't expect a one-to-one copy and be prepared for it to be weaker in every single aspect. Nevertheless, it is a fairly entertaining series that I definitely plan to continue reading.
