Series that completely rely on misunderstandings are always controversial. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't, as the challenge lies with keeping content relevant. In a nutshell, the MC is....a completely down-bad simp. He is thinking with his ____, he urgently wants to get it on with some fantasy baddies. There is a twist, he just goes along with anything good-willed if it will bring him closer to doing the dirty. I was confused at the beginning, but it makes sense as each chapter passes.
