Maybe I Can Eat My Roommate Alien NieA under 7 is a show about economic troubles, hunger, and the eternal want to destroy your roommate, but maybe there's still a bright side. The vibe is very much of the 90s aftermath of the bubble economy, where everybody was have to tighten there belts, and the main girl is certainly feeling it, especially with no father in her life. and show it very much slice of life, with a little alien twist on top. The main girl is endearing, her constant struggle with money and trying to get to a good university , and the alien is a constantfoil to her, she feels like a stray cat, that won't leave her life.

Tone of the show is not sad, but it is downbeat, It's like the weird has become normal, and now it just the struggle of the daily life.

Time keep changing, nothing can stay the same, but maybe we can find comfort in it anyway, and maybe the weird alien will give us delicious curry.
