Review of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

Started off very string, with a very good premise and themes about living life the way you want to, which I feel like any workaholic would relate to. After the first 3ish episodes, there was no clear direction plotwise, the chracters were shallow, and it relied on shonen troupes which made it feel unrealistic and did not help portray the theme well. Great premise and beginning, but bad execution after it. If the premise and live your life your way themes interests you, go watch this but don't expect much. Plot: 4/10 - Nothing really here besides the premise, there are some conflict but it felt unrealisticand forced

Comedy: 4/10

- nothing much here, I got sick of the naked jokes pretty quickly

Characters: 5/10

- the main 3 (besides the foreinger) were pretty well thought out and deep but most of the other people felt shallow, making the conflict feel pointless and unrealistic

Art: 7/10

- I like the approach of colourful blood, but other than that, I can't say much about it as its decent

Themes: 910

- The main theme is living life the way you want to, despite being abused by a job or some other reason. I feel like this resonates with Japanese people much more as working conditions are much worse and I really wish that the characters were deeper so that this could be displayed better but it is what it is.

Enjoyment 5/10

- I enjoyed watching this on the plane, filled the time

Personal Impact: 4/10

- It hit me hard at the start but after that, it felt shallow
