Review of given

"Given", an amazing story about not only guys, not only romance, not only music, but also about the power of communication. The beginning of the show is crucial to tell you what it is about, and "Given" does not miss anything on this point. The spectator can clearly understand what the show is about in the first episode, and yes: Is going to be intense! The pass of the anime is slow, but not too slow. Just enough to understand and get to know the characters that the spectator is leading with. Is possible to taste every feeling that the characters are going throw and so empathizewith them. And believe, that will be crucial to the climax of the show, completely worth watching and always engaging.

The romance between both characters is slow and natural, almost imperceptible from how smooth it is. Really heartwarming and beautiful, as dramatic as any teenage show should be. Be aware that one of the characters have a past with sensitive topics on this side, that should be taken in account when watching.

Finally, as I said, "Given" is about the power of communication. Mafuyu is a guy that claims that he doesn't know how to express himself, he has difficulties leading with it (as it is possible to see throw the episodes). However, in a certain part of the show, is revealed that Mafuyu has an amazing power to extern his own deep and internal frustrations throw music, a power that is so strong that is possible to shiver when the song is heard for the first time... And when understanded, after the anime had showed what he got... Is just something that is not possible to tell, just to feel. Because music can talk more than any word written.

Technicalities:
Sound track: 10 – Music is a fort from this show, it seems to be thought for every moment and from every moment. Something strong and deep at every moment.
Characters: 8 – They are deep, with coherent personalities and traumas that are really interesting, however nothing really innovative for the genre.
Image: 8 – The traditional trace for a teenage show, colorful with pretty lines. Is comfortable to see and gives the sensation of home, but as well, nothing really new.
History: 9 – Even being a traditional show and has a predictable plot, it does not lose a lot of points since the authors knew what they were doing with it. It goes smoothly and warming, really nice to watch.
