As far as Daomu Biji adaptations go, this wasn't the worst, but it definitely wasn't the best either. When I started this, I basically knew everything that would happen since I've seen every live action of this series so far. I gotta say that there were many differences between what happened in the live action and in this one. I found this really lacking the emotional impact that The Lost Tomb 2 had and it made this very underwhelming. Some of the more noticeable differences were the lack of Wang Pangzi and Ah Ning, along with Zhang Qiling’s short screen time. Overall, the animation was good and itmade this more enjoyable.
