Review of Vermeil in Gold

vermeil in Gold was a good anime, could consider it being seasonal fodder but for me the comedy was ok with the character dynamic and setting being entertaining enough for me to keep me preoccupied throughout the show with the dynamic being a kind of shy mc who's still young and pure hearted who gets a familiar who's near enough the complete opposite. Which for this kind of anime is a good combination. The setting of the anime could be better with us not seeing alot of it but at the same time the school being very modern with an old look so Hogwarts withWiFi pretty much.
The plot of the show develops at a pace that's good for a 12 episode style show with the climax being good in terms of character background. the fights that happen are ok, sometimes being good but it's that kind of world where the magic isn't talked about in that kind of depth unless it's to do with the mc's magic which is different than the normys magic.

At the end of the show I would recommend this to people who have time to watch something decently ecchi but not full blown over the top ecchi so more fan service with parts that go a little beyond fan service, so if you like high school dxd or similar you'll like this just beware the magic in this has alot less background detail in how it works and such.
