This anime actually has a pretty interesting premise, but the execution feels stuck in a loop. The story follows an extremely attractive girl who lives off validation. People usually fall for her instantly, so when she meets a guy who’s completely indifferent and unfazed by her looks, her ego gets triggered. From there, she starts trying really hard — sometimes to the point of embarrassing herself — just to make him fall for her. The problem is, the pattern barely changes from start to finish. The guy is actually interested, but he’s way too rigid with his principles and self-control. The girl keeps pushing, the guy keeps holdingback. As a result, the conflict just keeps cycling: push, fail, awkward moment, reset.

What makes it feel flat is the lack of real character development. The girl’s need for validation is never explored or challenged in a meaningful way, and the guy’s principles are never emotionally tested either. So it doesn’t feel like a slow-burn romance — it feels more like the same situational comedy being repeated over and over.

For me, this is the kind of anime you can finish, but it’s hard to get genuinely invested in. It’s not bad, just half-baked. The potential is there, but the repetitive conflict makes it feel emotionally flat by the end.
