Merely satisfactory animation, average story, good voice acting. It's pretty okay considering the state of yaoi hentai these days, so I'm not complaining too much. If you're looking to watch anime boys fuck, you'll get it but be warned: the H-scenes are incredibly short and the animation quality varies from scene to scene. Some were just downright bad, and some were actually alright. Nothing that can be compared with modern het hentai (though at least, this one has little to no tweening), but better than some stinkers from the past 10 years. Either way aside from the added bonus of voice acting, one would likelyget far more enjoyment from reading the manga it is based on.
