Review of Please Put Them On, Takamine-san

An ecchi anime thats a romance anime first and ecchi second. That sounds counter intuitive first, but lets break it down. How many times are ecchi animes unwatchable because the male MC is to the level of cringe that its painful. That isn't found here, the male MC does have the usual traits of being self loathing and less active than the female counterpart, but he goes along with her in a way that's enjoyable and their relationship (slowly) progresses as a romance anime should. This is further aided by the female protagonist's unique ability, when one of the more 'cliched' developments happen because of the M,she forcibly rewinds the story to make it ideal for her, and over the episodes the M try's to think of how she would want things to go and how to make her happy.

There is almost no side characters, the focus is basically entirely on the dynamic between the two which is unique. The only would be 'criticism' is that the ecchi value is actually very low, once or twice an episode at max but compared to most slop that comes out with this tag you'll likely find it refreshing that when it comes around its in a more natural occurrence rather then being forced for the sake of it.

Finally regardless, make sure to watch it uncensored as most streaming/uploads is censored.
