Review of Chainsaw Man

"If you’re gonna kill me, just do it. I’m dead either way" – Denji Chainsaw Man has generated a lot of buzz since its announcement and has proven to be one of the best action anime of this year. Mappa did a fantastic job with the animation and the voice acting is exceptional even though some people thought the voice don't fit the characters. From the small details in the animation to the intro's movie references. Some may say it didn't live up to the hype, but given the high expectations, it would be tough for anything to live up to that. For me, it excelsin all aspects. I'm a big fan of CSM since 2019. Way before the whole pandemic. The storyline was new and refreshing in my opinion. Even with the absurd amount of gore, I still enjoyed reading it till the very end. The ending was so unexpected ( and seems rushed ) nevertheless I held on and finish it. I gave the manga a 9 because of the ending alone. But when I saw the announcement that Chainsaw Man was getting an anime adaptation I knew it was gonna be amazing. And the anime gods have blessed us with the god-tier studio (rip the employees) MAPPA. I waited patiently knowing that its gonna turn out great and as expected the anime was 10/10. But this rating will still be fixed to only S1 cause anything can happen in the future, knowing the ending of part 1 CSM. All in all, CSM isn't suitable for everyone, as it contains intense violence and is not appropriate for children.

In conclusion, if you're looking for an intense anime with great animation and interesting characters, Chainsaw Man is a must-watch.
