Review of Tsukigakirei

I see a lot of slice of life/high school anime, this one takes place in middle school and it does better than most of those. The romance aspect doesn't play around, usually they just confess their love or try to get a kiss and it takes a whole season, this takes a single episode. It pushed the norms of many regular anime and I love it. Now the only complaint I have isn't the characters themselves but just their names because I remember this anime quite well but I don't remember their names and that can be a problem with the value if you don'teven remember the characters. Obviously I can look it up but I normally remember that sort of thing. Let alone the actual title "As the Moon So Beautiful" as the English title, I actually remember Tsuki Ga Kirei a lot better and actually translates to "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" Makes a ton more sense but hey it could be named anything as long as the content is good.

This easily could have gone on for another season but the ending makes it apparent that there won't be one, it doesn't feel cheated such as ending on a cliffhanger though.
