Golden Kamuy is a good show. There is some action scenes here but that's not the entire focus of the show. A lot of it is about a Soldier and a Ainu girl getting to know each other through arduous tasks on their journey to reclaim the gold for Ainu people. This season is basically set up for the next season. It does not really have anything that would be a typical season final. Instead this season sets up the different key players and factions involved in the race for the hidden Ainu Gold. It does a very good job of setting up a solidfoundation for what is hopefully solid future installments.
