Review of Astra Lost in Space
Just discovered this a couple weeks ago. I was hooked after 2 episodes. After ending this series, I felt really surprised how long it took me to find this absolute gem. It gave me the warm and fuzzy, while also keeping me in suspense, the story beats are expertly paced out. Most of the plot twists were things I would never have predicted, though I was so engrossed that my brain was just going along for the ride most of the time. As I mentioned, I was so engrossed in the story, the way it's written is masterful. It's densely packed, around 2 major events happeningper episode, and yet it never felt rushed. I felt like I never missed a beat of character development, their inter-personal relationships, as though I experienced everything in as much fullness as it could possibly be.
More so, I really came to respect Kanata as a character or even as a person. It's rare that that happens, I mean, there are many characters I love, but I can't recall the last time I actually felt a deep sense of respect for one above that.
I'll miss the crew, but I'll definitely come back to visit them sometime in the future.
This was one of the best I've ever watched. 10/10 for me, aye, yeah.
