Review of Redline

Story (8/10): The story of this anime was not what you call a Pulitzer worthy story it was simple fun and crazy. It was not meant to be thought provoking nor deep nor meaningful it was just a crazy adrenaline pumped ride from start to finish and that was whats great about it. Some sort of history of characters was provided during the course of the movie but i guess it was there simply to justify some of the actions and progress the story to it's conclusion. Characters (8/10): The characters of the movie are what you would find any where but were mixed with a little bitof LSD :D giving you your regular characters but over the top. Every character even the side characters had something crazy going on for them and i am not simply talking about the crazy designs, actions and behaviors and the such as well.

Art and Animation (10/10):
Madhouse provide you with yet another eye candy anime. Everything about this movie was simply fantastic. The environments, objects, characters were all simply crazy and top notch design. The animations and movements were well executed and simply a blast to watch.
It was an explosive experience, LITERALLY (yeah this movie offered a shit ton of fantastic explosions)
let me qoute something i have read around the Internet "Redline supposedly took 7 years and ~100,000 individual drawings to create, all hand-drawn, limited computer work, and it shows."

Music & VA (8/10):
The soundtrack of this anime was a great part of the enjoyment factor. starting with upbeat and hyping music and ending with every noise made by the engine or the machines. Everything seemed to be is a well orchestrated rhythm like it was all part of the soundtrack
The Voice acting was top notch as well the English dub was fantastic and i am sure there was a lot of adliping involved :D

Effectiveness (9/10):
This movie was a blast to watch from start to finish. Never a dull moment and a lot of explosions on top
And with great pacing and music it was the perfect entertainment for me
