Review of Bakemonogatari

Story : 9 The story is very interesting and has this mysterious vibe around it that makes you curious. The story revolves around supernatural and mysterious living beings that our main protagonist, Araragi, interacts with. It's one of the anime that I have watched that has it's own unique story and do not have much cliche. Although I warn you, sometimes, it can be weird and very disturbing. Art : 10 The art on this anime is just so vivid and weird and that's EXACTLY what made me so addicted to this anime. It has one of the best art that I have seen with my own eyes.It's like a moving vivid painting that changes from time to time but manages to captivate that vibe around it. I honestly don't know what I'm saying but it's just great. Props to SHAFT!

Sound : 10

The music in this anime is amazing! It's what makes this vibe weirded out vibe around the anime that just captivates me. The music is put into the right scenes and right moments in which makes it more enjoyable. It could be some kinda sad piano music to this dark weird music which corresponds to the scenes. The OP and ED are very good throughout the anime and it changes when there's a new story/arc to be showed. It really is great and fresh to have a new OP and ED every now and then.

Character : 8

I gave this an 8 because I felt like the other characters were just ignored most of the time and were not given character development that much but I do have to say that they did a great job at developing the main characters it's just that there were some like Sengoku that I felt like didn't get enough screen time.

Enjoyment : 10

I really enjoyed the anime and has a special place in my heart. The story, art, sound and characters just mend so well together that I really enjoyed the heck out of it. The adventures of Araragi, even though some were only 2-5 episodes, were really enjoyabled.

Overall : 9

It was a GREAT anime for me but it does have it's own flaws such as, like I said, short character development. I would definitely recommend this to every anime fan, be it casual or not.

Bakemonogatari is a GREAT anime and definitely a MUST-SEE
