Review of The World God Only Knows
Guy who conquers girls in his video games figures out his skills transfer to real life. Let's just say that I liked the premise of the story, and I was glad that the shtick didn't get old. However, I hated the filler episodes, which contained no story at all. The art was fair and sound was good. There's actually some pretty beautiful orchestral background music. I would definitely recommend listening to some of the OST. My favorite was that great track that plays at the moments when Katsuragi "completes" his conquests "Kuchizuke Made no Kyori." I liked it a lot! Katsuragi himself is a simple character with definedtraits. His value that he adds to the anime is not his character development, but rather his "genius-level" intellect when it comes to gal conquesting. It was entertaining to see how he would handle each new situation. Elsie is a static character for the most part. The heroines themselves were each different and interesting in their own ways. Most of them had realistic problems that weren't TOO cliche.
The World Only God Knows is similar to One Punch Man in the fact that you know exactly what's going to happen in the end, but you don't know how and when it'll happen. A fair anime with an interesting premise allows for a score of 7.
