Hanako-kun is an amazing series, and I always look forward to the next episode. I specifically would recommend the Japanese dub however, as the english dub has some poorly crow barred in "jokes" that seem like the writer is trying to sabotage this amazing show. The art, which is different from many anime, adds to the supernatural air of the show, making it easier to just watch and become immersed. I suggest keeping an eye open to details while watching, as there are little things in the background that, at least to me, seem like they are foreshadowing upcoming events or character relationships.
